1. Hi there! How did you get on with the guide to using Photo Story 3? Pretty good? Now it’s time for you to decide on your photographs and theme for your own story. Don’t worry I will talk you through it giving you some tips to try.

2. Camera ready? Take a look around the inside and outside of your school for objects or landscapes that you like. Remember the best thing about using the digital camera is that you will be able to take the photos an then edit them later, so try taking photos from different angles.

3. Well done, I am sure you have taken some brilliant photographs. Are we ready to edit them now? Remember we do the editing in Photo Story 3. click on the clapper board below to go to the editing suite.

4. Import your pictures from your camera by clicking on Import Pictures, find your camera in the menu and then select the picture you want. Watch it appear in the film strip. Keep doing this until you have all your photographs ready. Film Strip

5. Now you have your photographs all loaded up into your film strip try having a go at some of these editing ideas. Crop the photo to include an interesting part. Can you make your photo look like it is from WW2. Give it a caption/title. Can you add music to your film, or what about having a go at having a different piece of music for each photo. What about creating your own music to make sure it is exactly what you are looking for. Try making zooming in on a particular part of the photo.

6. Congratulations you have used your editing skills successfully. On the next few slides I have devised a Photo Album, this will allow you to put all the before and after photographs into an album for future reference. Here though you will need to use your skills in Power Point by re-sizing photographs, giving them suitable frames and presenting them in an interesting way. You can also write a little to explain how you have edited them. If you need more pages to your album, then you can duplicate a slide. Go to Insert and click on Duplicate Slide, it will appear underneath.
