Para-professional Pathway
Pathway Requirements Meet all graduation requirements Complete 2 of 3 ROP Medical Careers Courses 40 hours of internship or field work Complete an exploratory Health/Careers course Complete an oral presentation and reflective essay in senior year with a proficiency of 80% or higher Additional requirements for individual pathways below: Para-professional Pathway Complete all 3 ROP Medical Careers Courses Licensing Pathway Take psychology and sociology Professional Pathway Take 1 AP Science Take 1 AP Math Maintain a 3.0 or higher academic GPA Score 1700 or higher on SAT

Proficient or Advanced Proficient on STAR ELA Exam Minimum 2.0 GPA Satisfactory citizenship marks Satisfactory attendance – no truancies Program must be begun by the beginning of sophomore year to receive graduation recognition
