Years 3 & 4 Consists of Clinical Rotations Required “Core” Rotations Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Surgery, OB, Psych, EM, Peds) Electives Many schools (including Jefferson) utilize large affiliate networks to provide clinical training in the 3 rd and 4 th years.

Idea of a Branch Campus Medical schools are expanding Expansion typically follows one of two models: “In Place” More students on existing campus and facilities “Regional campus model” offer some curriculum to a portion of the class (most commonly clinical education).
