New regs tie Teacher & Administrator Evaluation to Student Growth Data 2015-16 SY = 20% 2016-17 SY = 35% 2017-18 SY = 50% “Student Growth” refers to GROWTH, not proficiency Student Growth Data is aggregate SpEd: Growth data might consist of skills outlined in IEP NEW REGULATION: Evaluation & Student Growth Data

Provide teachers information about their students so that instruction may be adjusted/tailored in response Provide district with trends in skill levels Prepare students for format of current SBA (preparation of ECRs) Collaborative PD for teachers in scoring process District-wide Writing Assessment
