Firouz Tabarrok M.D “He was accepted as a resident at the Albers Schonberg institute, the radiology department of Hamburg's St George Hospital. Named after the founder of the department and the scientist who discovered the Marble bone disease, the department provided the means to finish his education in radiotherapy and nuclear medicine, and start his education in diagnostic radiology.”

Firouz Tabarrok M.D “The multi-departmental nature of the hospital provided the perfect grounds to examine different categories of patients.” “Dr Feindt, the institute's department head, was always seeking more knowledge about the newest techniques in radiology. Under his guidance, many residents were sent to various European countries to learn new ways and to bring back and share their experiences for the benefit of the institute.”

Firouz Tabarrok M.D “As a result of this policy he was sent to the University of Aarhus in Denmark for 2 months, where he worked in its ultra- modern neuro-radiology department. He also spent 6 months at the Middlesex Hospital in London as part of the same program.” “Upon his return to Iran he began work at Tehran's Jorjani hospital, One of Shahid Beheshti University's hospitals in 1970.”

Firouz Tabarrok M.D His priority had always been to put the techniques he had during his years in Hamburg into good use for the benefit of his patients. He decided to specialize in arthrography of the knee joint and to record his findings for his personal research. He reported his research results of 11000 arthrograms in one congress and 450 shoulder arthrograms in another.”

Firouz Tabarrok M.D “The age of world population is increasing and osteoporosis and its complications are one of the main issues of health especially of women.
