Uniterra program Established jointly by CECI and WUSC, Uniterra is a major voluntary cooperation program that helps reduce poverty and inequalities in countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. The program gives the opportunity to individuals and organizations to make a difference in developing countries. Each year, around 450 volunteers participate in the Uniterra program. How does Uniterra work? Your picture! The Uniterra program maintains a long- term and sustainable partnership with local organizations in the countries of focus. The program supports organizations that are working actively to improve living conditions for their communities. The projects contribute to actions on the following issues: Equality between women and men Economic development Health and AIDS Education Governance

The Uniterra program offers many voluntary opportunities to Canadian men and women who want to work as volunteers abroad.

12 Important facts All costs to participate are covered by the Uniterra program (plane ticket, vaccination, visa, insurance, lodging, etc.) From beginning to end of your participation, you will be supported by Uniterra employees, for whom your health and security are priorities!
