Unit 4 ● Week 2 demonstration Key Words Define: A demonstration shows or proves something by example. Context Clue: We watched a demonstration at the mall. Ask: Why might people offer a demonstration of a product? Context Clue: “Centennial Exhibition in Philadelphia to see a demonstration of how the Ordinary word” (Bike Ride, Anyone?, pg 398).

Context Clue: something This beautiful outdoor sculpture is prominent feature of our community. Ask: What prominent features can be found in your community? Ask: Describe a luxury you have in your life. Context Clue: “One bike designed in the United States was a real luxury” (Bike Ride, Anyone?, pg 398).

Context Clue: “Eventually, the Ordinary faded from production and the Rover would prevail” (Bike Ride, Anyone?, pg 398).

Ask: What is something you have maneuvered? Context Clue: “The Rover was simply faster and more easily maneuvered, or controlled, up and down hills and around corners” (Bike Ride, Anyone?, pg 398).

Ask: What is an antonym of collective? Context Clue: “The league had one collective goal: All members wanted to improve bicycling conditions” (Bike Ride, Anyone?, pg 398).
