Area of Trapezoids

A trapezoid can be thought of as half of a parallelogram also. Notice that when we put the 2 trapezoids together we get a parallelogram. We use the bottom of one trapezoid and the top of the other to make the base of the parallelogram. Notice that we still need to use the height of the parallelogram as well.
