4 DFI Wellness Committee Mission Support the health, happiness and productivity of our employees by promoting, encouraging, and creating wellness opportunities. GOALS AND STRATEGIES GOAL 1: Provide health, education, and resources to all employees. Strategy 1-1:Increase mental health issues awareness. Strategy 1-2: Promote stress reduction programs. Strategy 1-3: Develop wellness policies and procedures. Strategy 1-4:Improve wellness intranet site. Strategy 1-5:Communicate and promote wellness initiatives (i.e. Not Me program, Tobacco Cessation, Weight Watchers, Own Your Own Health) Strategy 1-6:Educate employees on healthy habits. Strategy 1-7:Educate management on wellness programs and initiatives. GOAL 2: Identify and mitigate health risks of employees. Strategy 2-1:Health assessments yearly. Strategy 2-2:Biometric screenings. GOAL 3: Increase staff participation in the wellness program. Strategy 3-1:Offer incentives for staff participation. Strategy 3-2:Increase male participation. Strategy 3-3:Increase field staff participation. Strategy 3-4:Solicit and engage management support. GOAL 4: Create opportunities for increased physical activity and healthy eating. Strategy 4-1:Develop activities that include field staff. Strategy 4-2:Provide exercise at work opportunities. Strategy 4-3:Increase healthy eating options in agency functions. Strategy 4-4:Increase variety of activities for any employee to participate in.
