2 2 Genesis 4:1-10 “ Now the man had relations with his wife Eve, and she conceived and gave birth to Cain, and she said, "I have gotten a manchild with the help of the Lord." Again, she gave birth to his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of flocks, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. So it came about in the course of time that Cain brought an offering to the Lord of the fruit of the ground.... ”

3 3 Genesis 4:1-10 “... Abel, on his part also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of their fat portions. And the Lord had regard for Abel and for his offering; but for Cain and for his offering He had no regard. So Cain became very angry and his countenance fell. Then the Lord said to Cain, "Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? … ”

4 4 Genesis 4:1-10 “... "If you do well, will not your countenance be lifted up? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it." Cain told Abel his brother. And it came about when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him.… ”

5 5 Genesis 4:1-10 “... Then the Lord said to Cain, "Where is Abel your brother?" And he said, "I do not know. Am I my brother's keeper?" He said, "What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood is crying to Me from the ground. ”

And for what reason did he slay him? Because his deeds were evil, and his brother's were righteous. ” 1 John 3:23 “ This is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us. ” 1 John 4:7 “ Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. ” 1 John 4:11-12 “ Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us. ” 2 John 5 “ Now I ask you, lady, not as though I were writing to you a new commandment, but the one which we have had from the beginning, that we love one another. ”

Bear one another's burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ. ” Ephesians 4:32 “ Be kind to one another, tender- hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you. ” Ephesians 5:21 “ and be subject to one another in the fear of Christ. ” Hebrews 3:12-13 “ Take care, brethren, that there not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God. But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called "Today," so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. ” Hebrews 10:24-25 “ and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near. ” 1 Peter 4:8-10 “ Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins.
