Purpose The purpose of the Community Carnival is to raise money for Sardis Elementary School, benefitting either the school or a cause that the school wishes to pursue. We would also like to create a positive and enjoyable environment for everyone who attends.
3
Goals, Obstacles, and Strategies #1- Raise over $1500, giving $1100 to the school after budget costs have been taken into account. Obstacles - Entertainment equipment costing too much - Lack of attendance resulting in less money raised - Poor planning done by the group resulting in exceeding the budget Strategies - Fundraise to have more money to spend - Advertise to promote the carnival - Raise money to increase the budget
4
Goals, Obstacles, and Strategies #2- To have enough entertainment to provide fun for the entire duration of the carnival. Obstacles - Entertainment equipment costing too much - Not enough stock of entertainment equipment (ex: Bouncy Castle) - Poor planning done by the group careless of the young children’s interests Strategies - Research to find a variety of renting services - Come up with creative ideas for entertainment, which are low cost - Research the age group’s interests

Goals, Obstacles, and Strategies #3- To have good attendance, and to create a positive and fun atmosphere at the event. Some fundraising ideas we’ve come up with so far are: Bake Sales Bottle Drive Car Wash Pizza Sales (March 16 th and 30 th )
