111(d) – A Long-Term Outlook Deadline for filing petitions for review SCOTUS decides whether to take the case 60 Days Final Rule Published DC Circuit Court Opinion SCOTUS briefing, argument, & decision 2 Years (+ 6 months if petitions for reconsideration are filed) 6 Months Approx. 8 Months Legal process could take 3 to 4 years or longer.

Cybersecurity Legislation The House has passed two Bills – H.R. 1731, the National Cybersecurity Protection Advancement (NCPA) Act of 2015 Passed by a strong 355-63 vote – H.R. 1560, the Protecting Cyber Networks Act of 2015 Passed by 307-116 The Senate has struggled – May Consider Cyber Legislation this month

Energy Bills House Bill will be First – Draft Release is Possible this week – Mark - up will be the week of July 13 th or July 20 th Senate Bill Draft is Expected by August 7 th We are working on: – Reliability – Public Lands Rights of Way – Cybersecurity – Blocking Bad Ideas
