Conduct Communication Campaigns Prepare/ Enhance Resource Management Plans Strengthen Policy and Governance ENABLING INTERVENTIONS 8 1 2 PRIMARY INTERVENTIONS Mainstream Gender and IP Inclusion Develop Partnerships with Public and Private Sectors Strengthening Environmental Law Enforcement 7 Forest Restoration 3 The program activities that were organized per component (or Program Intermediate Results) in the previous work plans are now organized per program intervention. There are eight program interventions and the ToCs for each of these interventions. The program interventions are categorized into two types: Primary interventions - those that directly contribute towards abating pressures such as, strengthening environmental law enforcement or directly contributes towards enhancing the viability of a biodiversity target such as supporting forest restoration initiatives. Enabling interventions - those that enable stakeholders to carry out the primary interventions in a better and more effective way. These include the following: prepare/enhance resource management plans, strengthen policy and governance, develop partnerships with public and private sectors, support capacity development, develop and support PES mechanisms and strategies, support national REDD+ (Reduced Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation, and the Role of Conservation, Sustainable Management of Forests, and Enhancement of Forest Carbon Stocks in Developing Countries) and GHG Inventory programs, mainstream gender and inclusion, conduct communication campaigns, and conduct monitoring and evaluation.
