Students enrolled in the DEP are enrolled as full-time college students (12 units +) as “Special High School Student” California’s Ed Code sections 48800-48802 Enrolled in participating high school Independent Study Program (ISP) on a part-time basis. Full-time on college campus and one day at the participating high school Definition of Dual-Enrollment

Increase college-going rate for Hispanic students in the community Provide ACCESS to additional career and technical education opportunities to high school students Provide access to higher education opportunities for underrepresented, low income high school students.
