23 Your New Co-op Advantage Your New Co-op Advantage You can now count up to 2 cooperative education credits towards the 18 compulsory credits needed for a high school diploma. 27 Cooperative Education Facts What you need to know… Complete Complete the Coop Application Form Successfully Successfully complete a Pre-course interview Fulfill Fulfill 3 weeks of Pre-placement instruction the expectations in your personalized placement learning plan (PPLP) including the required hours of work every day Complete Complete all the required assessment and evaluation criteria including a career showcase, logs and journals, and a final culminating performance task Attend Attend all of the regular in-school integration sessions every second Monday for the entire semester

28 Application Process 1. Get a Co-op application form from Co op or Guidance office. 2. Select either 2 or 4 credit co-op 3. Obtain 2 teacher references 4. Submit the form with your course selection/ registration form to guidance 5. Be successful in your co-op interview in March (Sept. start) or Nov. (Feb. start)
