Coral reefs are warm, clear, shallow ocean habitats full of life. Coral reefs are made of tiny animals called coral polyps. They pile up on each other millions of them to make a reef. Coral reefs are found in the oceans around the equator in the tropics

One of the animals that live in a coral reef Is a clown fish. It is orange and has three White stripes. It can be 3 to 5 inches long

The interaction I found is with the clown fish and the anemone. The anemone is a fish-eating animal that looks like undersea flowers with hundreds of poisonous tentacles. Their tentacles kill other fish, but not the clown fish. The clown fish lives among the anemone.

Coral reefs are endangered because of too much fishing and pollution.

Fun fact: The Great Barrier reef can be seen from space because it is so big!
