12 AT Devices are any item, piece of equipment, or product, whether acquired commercially or customized, that are used to increase, maintain or improve the functional capabilities of a person with a disability. (Federal AT Act Law of 2004) What is AT? 12

13 AT Services help people learn about their AT options to help them decide if using AT will be of benefit. AT Services include: AT assessment, AT demonstration programs, AT lending programs, AT funding, AT recycling … Using AT can maintain, increase, maximize safety & independence What is an AT service? 13
