Sept. 17, 2003 Chiang Mai, Thailand JCADM – 7 Meeting Highlights Met in July in Brussels 31 SCAR, 29 COMNAP and 26 JCADM members Nations represented (18): New Zealand, Belgium, Russia, Netherlands, Norway, Australia, Korea, Japan, Argentina, Canada, Switzerland, Estonia, Finland, Poland, Germany, UK, US, Ukraine A focus on educating emerging countries on populating and using the AMD and general data management protocol

Sept. 17, 2003 Chiang Mai, Thailand JCADM – 7 Meeting Highlights NADCs was requested to document their databases using the SERF GCMD was requested to begin to document services and to add services to the AMD portal A tutorial was given on how to participate in the AMD A lot of interest obtaining DocBuilder for writing DIFs

Sept. 17, 2003 Chiang Mai, Thailand Antarctic Master Directory Update Australian Antarctic Data Center had MD8 installed and running More DIFs in the Antarctic Master Directory (AMD), http://gcmd.nasa.gov/Data/portals/amd/ http://gcmd.nasa.gov/Data/portals/amd/ 2799 DIFs in the AMD, up from 2406 in September 2002 or over 393 new DIFs this past year!
