3 your name American Red Cross Since its founding in 1881 by visionary leader Clara Barton, the American Red Cross has been the nation's premier emergency response organization. The American Red Cross is where people mobilize to help their neighbors—across the street, across the country, and across the world—in emergencies. Some four million people give blood through the Red Cross, making it the largest supplier of blood and blood products in the United States. The Red Cross is not a government agency; it relies on donations of time, money, and blood to do its work.

7 your name My Experience My experience giving blood was good. Although, I was extremely nervous in the beginning it was not near as bad as I thought it would be. The phlebotomist were very friendly, and did a really good job. I was in and out in like 30 minutes, it didn’t take long at all. Thankfully I didn’t pass out. After giving my donation I had some refreshments and watched TV, and then I left. I will definitely donate again in the future.
