2. The name of my project The name of my project is open street map which is a free website which allows you to download maps for free. You can use it anywhere you want and you can find anywhere in the world.

4. The main purpose of the project. The main purpose of the project is to allow people to find there way around the world and down the streets for free. That is the main purpose of the project.

5. When was the project set up? Open street map was founded on July 1 st 2004 by Steven Coast.

6. Where does the project get its resources? CC provides free tools that Scientists, Authors and Artists use.

7. Who are the main people or person? Steven Coast is the main person as he created it in 2004.

8. What country or countries are people based in? The people are mainly based in Cambridge in the England (The United Kingdom).

9. What is interesting about these people? They have formed the OpenStreetMap Foundation. It is there part time job.

10. Has it got any competitors? Multi-maps and Google maps are its main competitors.

11. Has it got any weaknesses? It hasn’t got as much publicity as Google Maps and Multi-Maps.

12. Is the site welcoming? Yes it is and it welcomes newcomers.

13. How can it be improved? It could have a bit more detail on the roads. If I was a member then I would make a bit more detail on the roads!!
