Remember the UV Frisbee experiment.
What happened to the Frisbee where the piece of glass lay on it???
The Frisbee still changed color.
The glass did not protect the Frisbee
from the UV rays!

Design an effective cooling system so the plane does not get hot from the sunlight.
Design flight suits that protect from UV rays (some bathing suits now have this).
Design sun glasses that cover the pilot’s full range of view.

Because the pilot is closer to the sun making the sun’s harmful rays more powerful. The pilot is exposed to the sun’s toxic rays through the windshield. The heat from the sun will make the plane hot. The rays from the sun can hurt the pilot’s eyes. The sun’s rays could pass through the windshield exposing the pilot to a possible sunburn.
