Level 1 – ¿Qué te gusta hacer? WL.K12.NH.3.2 Exchange information about familiar tasks, topics and activities, including personal information Level 2 – Oficios en el vecindario WL.K12.IL.3.4: Exchange information about familiar academic and social topics including participation in an interview. Level 3 – Todo tiene solución WL.K12.IH.3.3: Express degrees of emotion and respond appropriately to the feelings and emotions of others. Level 4 – Protejamos nuestra tierra WL.K12.AL.3.8: Collaborate to develop and propose solutions to problems. Standard 3 – Interpersonal Communication: The student will be able to engage in conversations and exchange information, concepts, and ideas orally and in writing with a variety of speakers or readers on a variety of topics in a culturally appropriate context in the target language.

Suggested Activities Level 1 – In pairs students will present to the class activities they like to do after school such as sports, outings... Level 2 – Students will exchange information in writing about professions in the neighborhood or family profession. They may present the information to the class. Level 3 – In groups of 4 students will write and present a skit about a situation where they incorporate the vocabulary and emotions. After the presentation students will ask the class how they would have solve the situation. Level 4 – Students will read Protejamos nuestra tierra, Nuevas Vistas Curso de Introducción, After reading the students will research different initiatives in their community to save the environment. Discuss with a partner solutions to solve this problem.
