After GCE N level exams, eligible students will complete 1-year foundation programme (FP) at the polytechnics, before embarking on a 3-year diploma course.

From FP to 3-year polytechnic diploma course: Students who pass all modules during their Polytechnic FP course will be admitted into the first year of their pre-selected* polytechnic courses (*selection: upon release of GCE N level results)

Students are strongly encouraged to continue with the FP course which they enrolled in.
Appeals for transfer are assessed on case-by-case basis

A place in a related Polytechnic Diploma course (either 1st/2nd year) is assured if qualifying GPA is met
