2 L ong ago, Shakespeare’s plays were performed in the Globe; this re-creation is spot-on.

3 O n the River Thames is Big Ben & Parliament.

4 N ever step past the yellow line when waiting on the tube, and always “Mind the Gap.”

5 D ays and evenings are busy at Piccadilly Circus

6 O ver the pond, they take their cigarette warnings seriously.

7 N ever had we seen a sight like the Changing of the Guards at Buckingham Palace.

8 E skimo Joe’s may be the “Smile seen ‘round the world”; it was on the Thames walk near the London Eye.

9 N ow we were allowed to touch the art like this lion at an open-air market in Camden.

10 G oing on a trip, it’s fun to make new friends, especially when they’re the pilots of the plane

11 L ike other families in London, we enjoyed playing at the many parks.

12 A llé, Allé-Allé-Allé! Come on England!! Football (American soccer) is an important pastime.

13 N o matter how far from home, there are things that will remind us where we are from.

14 D o you dare to eat English food? This is bangers (sausages) and mash (potatoes).

15 LONDON, ENGLAND was the first of our European trips, and through it we learned a lot about another culture, another country, and each other.
