O n the River Thames is Big Ben & Parliament.

N ever step past the yellow line when waiting on the tube, and always “Mind the Gap.”

D ays and evenings are busy at Piccadilly Circus

O ver the pond, they take their cigarette warnings seriously.

N ever had we seen a sight like the Changing of the Guards at Buckingham Palace.

E skimo Joe’s may be the “Smile seen ‘round the world”; it was on the Thames walk near the London Eye.

N ow we were allowed to touch the art like this lion at an open-air market in Camden.

G oing on a trip, it’s fun to make new friends, especially when they’re the pilots of the plane

L ike other families in London, we enjoyed playing at the many parks.

A llé, Allé-Allé-Allé! Come on England!! Football (American soccer) is an important pastime.

N o matter how far from home, there are things that will remind us where we are from.

D o you dare to eat English food? This is bangers (sausages) and mash (potatoes).

LONDON, ENGLAND was the first of our European trips, and through it we learned a lot about another culture, another country, and each other.
