Is this expository or narrative? All students should be willing to do their homework. Homework helps us develop our study skills, improve our grades, and be responsible. First, homework helps me improve my study skills. When I focus on questions I do not know, I learn how to figure out the answers on my own. This process makes me smarter like Albert Einstein. The more I study, the better I do on my tests. Also, I improve my vocabulary when I study.

Is this expository or narrative? One creepy night, I saw a dark figure lurking in the bushes outside of my window. When I peeked over the window sill, my eyes met his copper eyes glowing in the dark. I was so scared. My body was frozen like a statue. I tried to scream, but I couldn’t make a noise. It was like my vocal cords had been snipped.
