For example, if East requests a substitution, #7 for #5, the libero tracker would record that action by slashing the “5” and writing a “7” immediately to the right of the of the slashed “5”. After the next rally, the West Libero, #13, replaces #26. This exchange is recorded in a similar fashion, except an “L” used to indicate the libero’s entry.
