Player Eligibility for Substitutions
Press Buzzer when player enters the Substitution Zone Check for player number of requested substitution. If legal, record on score sheet. If not legal, press the buzzer again and raise one hand and wave off while stating: “The request is not legal.” We no longer raise one hand to indicate legality.

You mark a “5” below player number “4” and enter the score. When marking the score, the first score is the team that requested the substitution, the second is the opposition.

Remember: When giving the hand signal to indicate a team has used five substitutions, do this prior to raising both hands to indicate the completion of the substitution

Sanctions When a team, player or coach is sanctioned you must record the information in this section. X An improper request is recorded by putting an X over the letter corresponding to the team at fault in the section labeled “IMPROPER REQUEST“ (next to the sanctions box). 8 12 D B 1 14 9 4 A 1 15 18 C B 1 Only Delays “D” in warning column.
