User Comments * * * * This site is a gem. I found it very useful as I am responsible for sales in a number of countries in Europe where cultural differences are very important. I was also pleasantly pleased to see there wasn't the usual stereotypical comments when viewing ones own country - it was very accurate/sensitive indeed. Manager Software Sales, EMEA * * * * All in all, I thought the quality of the site was very high. I have lived in several countries and going through the information I can confirm that the information is correct and very well presented! Business Planning Analyst * * * * * * * We're finding the website very helpful. We've prepared the repat checklist and ticked through about 35-40 items. My wife is an extremely organized person. She'd thought through many of the items already. I'm not as organized. So what the checklist, and time spent going through it, enabled us to do was to have a structured discussion where we both thought through the issues in the same way. * * * * I am a local employee responsible for expats and compensation and benefits in the UK. I think this site is absolutely brilliant because it gives me insight into the different cultures where we have expats or intend sending employees. I can use it as a reference for myself to increase my knowledge and also to advise expats. Human Resources - Compensation & Benefits

User Comments, cont. * * * * I am a Chief Systems Engineer. In total I think I've been to the site about 10 times. It helped me put together a primer for our team supporting Iraq and Afghanistan. Having recently come back from Afghanistan, I would say that the information found on your web site was "right on". It helped tremendously in my business discussions there. * * * * I like the fact that your web site is very comprehensive. As we pursue business opportunities in other developing countries, I'm sure I will be back for a visit. * * * * * * * Good tool. Could have used this years ago. For example, I've learned some things that could have helped me with a co-worker I've had for the past four years. We now know his non-verbal communication (head nodding) means something different than we expected. Looking back this has been the cause of many problems. Canada-based employee
