Unlike previous versions, clients were limited to 20 total fee schedules to utilize for charging out, and tracking reimbursements back it OP.

15 2015 Office Practicum User Conference Creating Insurance Contracts The Method options include: ●Fee for Service: This is the most common and is the default for all converted fee schedules. ●Capitation: Selecting this indicates that this service is covered by a capitation agreement under which no itemized payment is expected.

16 2015 Office Practicum User Conference Creating Insurance Contracts ●Copay only: This is a variation of capitation, mostly intended for E&M services where the payment amount varies based upon each patient’s copay. ●Patient Responsibility Only: This is used for services that are known to be non- covered such as form fees.

18 2015 Office Practicum User Conference Copying an Insurance Contract 1.Select the contract to clone. 2.Click on the Clone button. 3.OP displays the Insurance Contract Clone Confirmation window informing you that the current contract will be superseded. 4.Select the Effective Date for the cloned contract. To do so, click the drop down arrow in the Effect Date field and select a date from the drop down calendar. 5.If you want the system to assign the cloned contract automatically to every payer who is associated with the existing contract, select the Update Associated Payers check box

If yes, you must do the following steps: 1.Make sure you uncheck the Show current contracts only box 2.Remove the Expiration Date that is automatically added when copied. 3.Save Yield
