11 Is This A Good Intro Email?
Introduction s Chris, Good Afternoon and let me introduce myself in less than 15 seconds!!! My name is Tim Reilly and I am sending you this today as we have several mutual acquaintances in the industry both with grocery customers and on the manufacturing side.   While living in Monmouth County, NJ, working for Keebler and Campbell Soup I called on most of the major grocery chains in the NY / PA Markets.  I have developed strong relationships with  Shop-Rite, A&P/Pathmark, Foodtown and Giant of Carlisle / Edwards.. Kellogg's purchased Keebler in 2001 and in 2003 the Keebler/Kellogg's Company asked me to manage/develop their DSD business for them in North and South Carolina.  I accepted and moved the family (wife and 2 boys) down to Davidson, NC. (Now everyone has heard of Davidson but Stephan has left for bigger and better things). As Sr. Zone Manager I have called on all of the accounts in North and South Carolina and Ingles over in Tennessee.  I have 20+ years of DSD experience and the account experience you are looking for in this market to hit the ground running as the Key Account Manager for North Carolina/Southeast Region.  I was born at St. Mary's in downtown Philadelphia, I have worked for two Philadelphia based companies since College and I would like a chance to make that a trifecta.    Let's take the Philadelphia mindset to the Southeast and make sure everyone from the CEO to the receiver is thinking TastyKake, get the ads on the front page, make sure every SKU is authorized, secure the incremental displays out on the floor this brand deserves and deductions are unacceptable from any customer (that is only a breakdown in communication).  Their is no limit on what we could do with this brand down in this market!!!  Down here we need to "Think Big..Think Philly..and Think Nothing Less!!!"  Could we possibly discuss this role and my background in more detail when you have a minute?    Let me know when is a good time for us to talk. Thanks for the 15 seconds and I look forward to talking with you in the near future, Tim Cell:  Is This A Good Intro ?

12 Is This A Good Pre-Interview Email?
Dear Joe,   I spoke with Ann McCrady and scheduled our interview to meet on July 8th at 4:00 PM in Charlotte. I am excited about our meeting to discuss my background and experience, and the potential opportunities to lead sales growth strategies for Tastykake brands in the Southeastern U.S. market.   In advance of our meeting, I have attached a copy of my resume and highlighted some of my most significant accomplishments below. Successfully lead Kellogg's Snacks $82MM DSD business in North Carolina, South Carolina and  Tennessee.  Developed strong C-level relationships with Food Lion, Harris Teeter, Lowe’s, BiLo and Ingles.  Developed and executed sales programs that consistently surpassed corporate growth plans for Kellogg's Snacks (+$17MM up 20% ) and Campbell Soup (+7MM up 18% ).    Full P&L responsibility for top line, unsaleables, net sales, mix, contribution dollars, contribution margin %, samples and premiums. Reduced unsaleables, returns and refusals 45% that represented $8.5MM savings to Kellogg's Snacks. Spoke at the National Sales Meeting in 2006 to present these best practices.  I look forward to meeting with you and discussing how I can contribute to the Tastykake Team.   Please let me know if I can provide you with any further information. Sincerely, Timothy P. Reilly 13400 Robert Walker Drive Davidson, NC  28036 C H Is This A Good Pre-Interview ?
