7. How do you get services? Call and make an appointment. Just come in between 9 and 5 without an appointment. Fill out some forms. If you are eligible, we can start providing what you need right away.

8. No! You do not have to be a member of the Spirit Lake Tribe to receive VR services. You do not have to have work experience or a lot of job skills. You do not have to be mentally retarded, missing both legs or have something really wrong with you to receive services.

9. Yes! You do need to WANT to work to receive VR services. You must need assistance to get a job.

10. Yes! You need to be willing to work with your assigned staff member to get a job. We will find on-the-job training where you can learn how to use a computer, fix a car or other jobs. Yes, you get paid during training.
