You must use the Seal Codes in the exact order in which they are listed. Extra Seal Codes may be ignored. 1.Go to Testing > Students in Sessions > Download Resources > Seal Codes **Reminder: Secure Material
26
Prepare for Testing Proctor Cache Test Content Proctor caching downloads the test content from Pearson to the caching computer in your building. This allows test content to be loaded faster during testing and enables testing to continue if internet connection is lost. Proctor caching must be done prior to testing. Do NOT proctor cache for a different content area while students are testing. Updates may be made to some forms prior to the test window opening, so don’t cache too early.
27
Prepare for Testing Proctor Cache Test Content Good News! You can cache all of your test sessions at the same time. Ugh! There is no way to tell if you have proctor cached a test session, so keep track of sessions as you cache them if you choose not to cache in bulk. When in doubt, cache again.

Active The student has logged in and started the test. If a test is in this status and the student needs to log in again, you need to Resume the test.
33
During Testing Monitoring Test Sessions StatusDescription Exited All students should be in this status after completing a test unit if they have exited the section successfully. The student has exited TestNav but has not submitted test responses. (Student cannot resume testing unless resumed by a test administrator). ResumedThe student has been authorized to resume the test. Resume a test when a student exits a test, intentionally or unintentionally, before finishing the all units of the test, and you want the student to continue the same test. Resumed- Uploaded The student has been authorized to resume the test, and any responses saved locally can be uploaded when the student is ready to continue testing. The student will be prompted to get assistance from the test administrator to upload saved responses. CompletedThe test has been submitted by the student through TestNav and the data has been processed. All units of the test should be complete if in this status. Marked CompleteWill NOT be used in Colorado for PARCC testing.

36
During Testing Non-Tested Students Students who were absent or not tested (did not access any part of the test): Computer Based Testing: Do NOT mark test complete Awaiting directions about this process from CDE.
37
After Final Unit Completion Stopping a Test Session WARNING: The Stop button will replace the Start button and will be present on the Students in Sessions screen throughout testing. Be sure your TAs know that stopping a session is a SAC responsibility! You should not STOP a Test Session until all units have been completed. Stopping a test session is not required until the end of the test window. SACs may prefer to stop test sessions earlier for increased test security. All students must be in COMPLETED status, so you must move students who did not test to a make-up group before you can stop the test. You may also need to remove any “Ready” students from the session. TBD – Awaiting direction from CDE.

The last name in Q is the last name in Pearson. Do not use a student’s first name. How do I invalidate a test? At the completion of testing send one email to the EDSS Student Enrollment Coordinator. Provide a brief explanation for each student who was unable to begin or complete testing. Awaiting information from the CDE.
