Course Overview Course Requirements Knowledge and Skills Student Expectations

Students acquire principles of computer maintenance, including electrical and electronic theory, computer hardware principles, and broad level components related to the installation, diagnosis, service, and repair of computer systems. To prepare for success, students must have opportunities to reinforce, apply, and transfer knowledge and skills to a variety of settings and problems.

This course is recommended for students in Grades 10-12. You will keep a portfolio for this course in a section of a 3-ring notebook You will keep an interactive notebook for this course in a spiral notebook. (for tracking new and emerging technologies and current events related to information technology)
