How do I get there? Read (People who read more… know more. It increases your vocabulary, your knowledge and helps you during timed tests.) Challenge yourself Get involved (clubs and/or organizations) Volunteer Make good grades (transcripts get sent to colleges)

Get Involved Find something you enjoy…then jump in and join the club. This can be sports, student council, yearbook, music, or art, etc. These activities will help you find your passion, make connections, develop leadership skills, and group skills.

Know when to say NO Being well-rounded is good, but don’t overdue it! Limit number of outside activities. Don’t stretch yourself too thin. BALANCE is the key to juggling grades, extracurricular activities, and college planning.
