Many people today are over weight due to lack of healthy meals and lack of exercising America pays as much as $ 93 Billion dollars per year on medical bills, roughly 9.5 percent was spent on Medicare for over weight and obese people. Due to the pressure of the public (TV, Movies, Sports) Overweight and obesity can lead to lack of self confident.

In the year 2000, The Center for Disease Control and Prevention reported that 17 percent of the reported death was cause by obesity and its side effect. Obesity can lead to many various diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes, fatty liver, joint problems, etc.

As known as Body Mass Indicator, an internationally used measure of obesity.

A handheld device that could calculate and display the amount of calories burned by having the user input the activity and profile Software that would calculate the calories burn, using the given input (i.e. weight, activity, time, heart rate, etc.) Two options: - Input the activity and amount of time spent - Take the heart rate and calculate with time,

The physics behind calculating the calories burned uses the “work” being done and the amount of time spent Heart rate can be used to calculate an even more precise amount of calories burned There are already software on the net that let you calculate the amount of calories burned by inputting the user’s profile http://www.csgnetwork.com/caloriesactburned.html

Researchers have found that people in developed countries have much higher percentage of people being over weight. Nearly 60 percent of adults in developed countries are found to be over weight

The user will be able to monitor the amount of calories burn per day. A reminder that says “you need to exercise” or “you have been exercising a lot today”. The user will be able to choose what to eat based on the calories burned.

Customers will be able to use this device to monitor their daily exercise, and will be able to choose what to consume based on the calorie burned This product will help user stay healthy and help towards losing weight. However, the user also must cooperate with exercising and choosing what are consumed Help for healthy lifestyle
