9 International Affairs SRC has a dedicated International Department who are responsible for implementing and organising European and international mobility. The Department is headed by the Assistant Director for International Affairs assisted by the External Funding Manager, EU Co-ordinator and Administrators Included within the team are dedicated curriculum staff who are given remitted time to manage international mobility.

12 Experience to date EU projects Lifelong Learning Programmes in SRC since 2007 Over 40 projects have been awarded: €2m has been generated Small Co-operation Projects Leonardo Partnerships €20,000 Grundtvig Partnership €20,000 Large Co-operation Projects Leonardo Transfer of Innovation €300,000 Individual Mobility Projects Grundtvig & Comenius Language Assistants Transversal Study Visits €1,200 per staff member Leonardo Mobility – IVT on average 100 students per year gain employability skills through EU placements or VETPRO (€500 for management & prep & €1,300 for subsistence per student) Comenius Bilateral projects –allows schools and colleges to develop knowledge and understanding between young people and educational staff. 13 Experience to date with individuals at risk The College was previously awarded a Beacon Award and Queen’s Anniversary Prize Award for its community cohesion and work with disadvantaged communities. Live and Learn Project for the Migrant and Traveller communities Learning and Living & Voice Project’s for Migrants Within the Southern Region, there are five NR (Neighbourhood Renewal - disadvantaged areas) SRC provide a range of programme tailored to individuals needs Fresh Start & Princes Trust Programmes
