Native Mode Dependencies There is no such concept as “Exchange 2003 native mode.” Both Exchange 2000 and 2003 servers can live in a native mode Exchange organization. This equates to a considerable bytes on the wire saving over Routing Group Connectors. In native mode, the Exchange Store automatically ignores and removes zombie ACE entries (applicable if you previously had Exchange 5.5 in the organization).
