2. What is FCCLA? Is the only in school student organization with the family as its central focus It provides opportunities for active student participation at local, state, and national levels. Students demonstrate skills learned in Family and Consumer Sciences, as well as helping families through community service. Develops the individual leader involved and provides service for a better community.

6. Community Service FCCLA is second to none when it comes to service learning. Nearly 100 percent of our members are involved in community service each year. Previously, we raised over $200,000 for Feed The Children. This year we partnered with March of Dimes and Share our Strength

7. Our Programs Have Real Community Impact! FCCLA programs promote safe driving through our national program, FACTS. Some of our focal areas are; No Distracted Driving Safe Driving Habits No Driving Under The Influence Buckle Up Encouraging Teens Not to Ride With Unsafe Drivers

13. Career Skills are Demonstrated… Early Childhood Event has students practice the skills needed to teach lessons to little children in a childcare setting. Culinary teams cooked a full 3 course menu in front of industry chef judges at Nationals.
