2.  How can we prevent young people being disaffected?  How and why do we categorise people?  What are the factors that divide society?  How might we encourage the growth of communities?

3. Discuss the view that, although young people in the UK have more opportunities than ever before, they also have more responsibilities. You might consider:  the opportunities and responsibilities that different young people have  what society expects of young people  whether young people and society share similar values (30 marks)

4. How far do you agree that the wealthy have an advantage over the less well-off in society? You might consider:  how people come to be wealthy  the impact of wealth or lack of it on quality of life  the importance we attach to money (30 marks)
