5 Partnership to Advance Clean Energy (PACE) Partners: Government of India & US Department of Energy Program coordinated by DBT & DST and administered through IUSSTF Objective: Facilitate joint R&D aimed towards deployment for clean energy technologies Priority Areas: Solar energy Second generation biofuels Energy efficiency of buildings Funding: $100 million (INR 530 crore) over 5 years, equal funding from each side both government and private Establishment of Indo- US Clean Energy Research & Development Center (JCERDC)
