3 Mini-Hub Overview Enable student registration for online courses through central registration system by mid-late November as Proof of Concept Courses offered by agreement with campus faculty and departments Some will limit cross-campus participation, others “unlimited: (some constraints re: available TA/GSI resources) Courses being articulated at other campuses Instructional funding approved by ILTI Courses offered via UCOE Canvas and other LMS or applications with LTI to Canvas (I.E.: Zyante, ALEKS, Moodle—UCLA course) Deliver business analysis and initial designs to ILTI Communication Hub team (funding via ILTI; coordination through UCOE)

7 Initiatives Underway Innovative Learning Technology Initiative (ILTI) (Ellen Osmundson) – Coordination (of all ILTI projects) – Searchable Course Database – Initial course articulation – Evaluation and Accountability (ILTI, courses, budgets) – Manage RFP process (development, support, instruction) Course Cross-Campus Support (UC Merced) Communication Hub (Keith Williams) – Work group of campus representatives with aim of replacing manual means of course registration across campuses

8 ILTI RFP Process Update 32 of courses submitted for development / enhancement funding # courses approved – approval review in progress Production budget process in development Review by faculty committee near completion Decisions likely mid-October Next round RFP will open mid-October, due mid to end November
