Monday and Thursday Creative Plants Just as we adapt to new environments, the plants of Colorado National Monument have developed creative and effective ways to deal with the extreme geology and climate of this landscape. Check back with us for more programs over the winter months! Do you love the outdoors and connecting your students to the wild? The National Park Service (NPS) Teacher Ranger Teacher (TRT) program is an extended professional development program for K-12 educators. Come be a TEACHER RANGER TEACHER! Participants spend between four and six weeks in a NPS unit developing a major educational project and completing an online graduate course from CU Denver.
