Lalonde Centre - District 2 n Police, Fire, EMS, Emergency Operations Centre.  Operational in Spring of 2007 n Storefront Officers will deploy from LEL n 14 additional officers for Greater Sudbury possible through the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services  Safer Communities - 1,000 Officers Partnerships Program

Our Community ~ Our Commitment Notre communauté ~ Notre engagement Community Safety Forum - 2007 SERVICE DELIVERY MODEL District 2 n No Reduction In Service  Storefront offices will remain open and officers will continue to utilize them  Officers will: Remain in their zone for their tour of duty Respond to Uniform calls for service and related assignments in their zone Work when required in storefront  Number of Uniform patrol officers assigned to the zones will remain the same  Volunteers will continue to work at the Storefronts

Our Community ~ Our Commitment Notre communauté ~ Notre engagement Community Safety Forum - 2007 TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT UNIT n Rural Squad will work in conjunction with the Traffic Unit to increase visibility and enforcement in the outlying areas through the use of specialized equipment  Increased trail patrols with snowmobiles and ATV’s complaints  Enhanced Marine Unit means more coverage on area lakes and waterways  Traffic complaints in the zones will be responded to in a more timely fashion  Traffic enforcement will be enhanced
