Capacity in polytechnics to be increased by 20% (2015) Government to provide publicly-funded university education for 30% of each cohort by 2015 (from 25%) Publicly-funded diploma and degree programmes at LASALLE College of Arts and NAFA Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) Launch of Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) Degree programmes with reputed overseas universities for polytechnic graduates 17 courses from 7 universities: U of Nevada, U of Manchester, U of Glasgow, Technical U of Munich, DigiPen Inst of Tech

L1R5 (6 subjects) – 20 and below, and pass EL 5 relevant subjects (at least 1 Humanities, 1 Maths/Science) Polytechnic ELR2B2 (5 subjects) – 25 and below (incl CCA bonus points) Relevant Subjects include at least 1 Maths or Humanities/Arts subject

For Comb 1, 2 (Pure Sc & A Maths) Maths > 70, Science > 70 EL > 60, Overall > 65% (for Comb 1 – 8 subjects) For Comb 3 (A Maths) Maths > 60 Art > 60 Final combinations offered will be dependent on demand and school resources Students who are unable to cope may be advised to drop 1-2 subjects in Sec 3/4
