CTE Student Definitions Secondary Level CTE Participant: A student (Grade 9-12) who has completed at least one course in any career and technical education (CTE) program area. CTE Concentrator: A student who has successfully completed at least fifty percent of the credits required to complete a state-approved CTE pathway of sequenced courses, and is enrolled in a course at the next level in the same pathway. CTE Completor: A student who has successfully completed a state- approved CTE pathway of sequenced courses.

CTE Data Collection & Reporting Tech Prep Participant: A Tech Prep Participant is any student who has completed fifty percent of a Tech Prep articulated CTE or CTE-Integrated pathway. Tech Prep Concentrator: A Tech Prep Completer at the Secondary level would be any student who has completed all course requirements in a Tech Prep articulated CTE or CTE-Integrated pathway. Grades: 10-12
