2 iPads in your School K- 1 to 3 iPads 1 st - 1 to 3 iPads 2 nd - 1 to 3 iPads 3 rd - 1 to 1 iPads There are 3 different versions of the iPad. One for K, one for 1 st -2 nd, and one for 3 rd grade. Each one had apps that are specific and geared toward your grade level Please give us feedback about the apps so we can make changes before they are imaged

3 iPad Apps on your Curriculum Maps Focus Standards for Assessment: K.RL.1 Ask and answer questions about key details in a text. iPad app: Any Books and Readers for all RL K.RL.3 Identify characters, settings, and major events in a story. K.RI.2 Identify the main topic and retell key details of a text. K.RI.5 Identify the front cover, back cover, and title page of a book. K.RI.6 Name the author and illustrator of a text and define the role of each. AZ.KRI.10a Actively engage in group reading of informational and functional texts. K.RF.1b Recognize that spoken words are represented in written language by specific sequences of letters. K.RF.2c Blend and segment onsets and rimes of single syllable words K.RF2d Isolate and pronounce the initial, medial vowel, and final sounds in CVC words K.RF1d Recognize and name all upper/lower case letters of the alphabet. iPad app: ABC Touch K.RF.3a,b Say the sounds of the alphabet, including consonants and vowels. iPad app: Phonics Lite K.RF.3c Read common high frequency words. iPad app: Sight Cards K.L.1a Print many upper and lowercase letters iPad app: iWW Lite K.L.1b Use frequently occurring nouns and verbs K.L.2 b Recognize and name end punctuation. K.L.5a Sort common objects into categories to gain a sense of the concepts the categories represent K.L.5b Demonstrate understanding of frequently occurring verbs and adjectives by relating them to their opposites. 5 Guided Access What is guided access? –Lets you pick and app that you want the students to use. It will only allow them to stay in this app How do I turn it on? –Open the app and triple click on the home button –You can then pick parts of the app you want disabled, then click start How do I turn it off? –Triple click on the home button and enter your passcode which is the last 4 digits of your school phone number, then click end
