Technology is a tool that should be used to achieve goals and objectives. Once a tool has been decided, we then must begin to determine what we want the tool to accomplish.

The tool should be designed to fit to the student. The student cannot be made to fit the tool.

The student is given a picture and sentence starter to provoke making an inference about what happened in the picture. Audio recordings and audio playback is great for students to practice audio processing who have trouble with this skill.

There are five difficulty levels that are based on the Dolch Word recognition lists: preprimer, primer, grade 1, grade 2, and grade 3.
