Things to celebrate: – Mr. Deabenderfer received a grant for $2,920 for non-fiction books. – Clary-Burke, Hamrick, Benson, Richter received a grant for $1,500 for guided reading books and flip cameras. – Hightower’s Habitat – Relay for Life – Best Parade Entry

RSE Test Scores: – 91.8% of students scored “Meet or Exceed Standards” in Reading / LA – 80.8% of students scored “Meet or Exceed Standards” in Math – Area of Focus: Students with Disabilities for all subject areas

Made AYP – Adequate Yearly Progress! Continuous School Improvement Plan (CSIP): Goal: – Each student will achieve 85% or more of his or her individual growth targets* in all academic areas each year. *Individual growth targets will be set based on multiple sources of student achievement such as Common Formative Assessments, STAR, Georgia Writing Assessments, ALEKS, AR and/or GKIDS.

Continuous School Improvement Plan (CSIP): Strategies: 1.All teachers will implement data-driven standards-based instruction. 2.Assessment for learning will be used to ensure continuous monitoring of student progress in all academic areas. 3.All teachers will develop culturally relevant instruction that considers contextual factors such as language, heritage, ethnicity, socio-economic status, and disabilities that impact student achievement.
