WIS 29 is a primary route with large traffic volumes The purpose of the project is to correct geometric deficiencies associated with accesses to WIS 29 The project need is to provide reasonable access to WIS 107 and to WIS 29 3 E. 13 th Ln Big Rib River E. 15 th StHighland Dr Cattail Ave 152 nd Ave Maratech Ave Weisenberger Rd Krautkramer Rd NORTH

The WIS 107 interchange was originally constructed in 1992; with an asphalt overlay placed in 2011. Improvements to WIS 29, east of WIS 107, were completed in 2013. The proposed service road is an outcome of the ongoing WIS 29 freeway conversion study. 4

During the past eight months: initial data collection. Met with local officials from the surrounding communities. Next, we will gather input on the alternatives, and prepare preliminary environmental documentation. 5
