1 Loading SPSS MGS 8110 Regression & Forecasting

2 MGS 8110 L00C - Loading SPSS 2 Obtaining the instructions. Got to the folder SPSS Instructions in L00 Introduction. Printout Step1a, Step1b or Step1c if you have Windows 7, Windows XP or Mac, respectively. You don’t need to print all three. Printout Step2a or Step2b or Step1c if you have SPSS 18 or SPSS19 disc. Don’t print both.

3 MGS 8110 L00C - Loading SPSS 3 Loading software You need to load two Programs. Program #1 is the VPN software (Virtual Private Network). You download this from the GSU website. Reference instructions Step1a, Step1b or Step1c. Program #2 is the actual SPSS software which you download from the disc given out in class. Reference instructions Step2a or Step2b. There will be two new programs on your computer when you are finished loading all of the programs: VPN and SPSS.

4 MGS 8110 L00C - Loading SPSS 4 Running the software First, execute the VPN. You will need your campus login (e-mail address) and password. Wait.

5 MGS 8110 L00C - Loading SPSS 5 Running the software Second, execute SPSS. Prior slide Now Wait. The loading time can be very long.
